About University
Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities (YMUN) was founded in 1958, is one of the Universities under the administration of Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 2008, it was awarded as the Excellent University in Undergraduate Education by Education Ministry of China owing to the outstanding achievements in the qualification assessment for institution of higher education. The University is located in Baise, a city 200 kilometers west of Nanning, the capital of Guangxi. The railway, highway, Baise Airport and Youjiang River makes Baise very accessible.
Over 50 years development, the university has become a modern medical university, which includes 6 faculties and 8 departments, specializes in Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, Nursing, Medical Imaging , Medical laboratory Science, Pharmacology, Public Facilities Administration, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gynaecology and Obstetrics , psychology, etc. The University enrolled about 7500 full-time students selected from 18 different provinces throughout China. It has a staff of 2200 members, of which 300 are Professors and Associate Professors. The University comprises 14 departments, 54 teaching and research sections, 18 laboratories, and 23 research institutes. There are five affiliated hospitals with advanced equipments and more than 55 teaching hospitals in different areas in Guangxi, Yunnan and Guizhou province provide good facilities to students for internship. The library collected 518，600 books, and 3, 000 GB e-book.

About University
Having been approved by the Ministry of Education, CTGU was founded in June 29, 2000, comprising the former Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering/Yichang and the former Hubei Sanxia College. The history of CTGU can be dated back to 1946, while the bachelor education started from 1978, and the postgraduate and international student education began from 1996.
